Payment Terms and Conditions

Once you have successfully placed an electronic order with Retail Empire you will receive a confirmation email. An automatic receipt will then be sent to your email address upon successful payment clearance (via whichever payment option you have selected). Once your order has been dispatched you will receive another email notifying you of the expected date of delivery.

Please note that all prices and charges are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

Payment Options via our website

Retail Empire uses PayPal as our on-line payment gateway. Please refer to our Privacy and Security section for more information on PayPal.

Payment Options via internet/ATM or cash

For local purchases in Singapore, we accept bank transfer payments via the internet or ATM. For orders that are self collected from Retail Empire, cash upon pick up is accepted (correct money only, no change will be given).

For transfers, our bank account details are given at the checkout page.

For payments via bank transfer we require you to email us the following details once your payment has been made:
  • your order number;
  • transfer date; and
  • transaction reference number

Upon payment clearance, we will email you with confirmation.

If payment for online orders is not received within 5 working days of the submission of the order, the order will be considered cancelled and the customer will need to resubmit their order should they wish to purchase the goods.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

As a general rule your order will be dispatched within 7 working days of your order being received AND payment being confirmed. If a product is currently out of stock in Singapore delivery times will vary and a representative from Retail Empire will contact you directly to discuss your options.

It is possible that during peak/holiday seasons (either in Singapore or in the country of manufacture) delivery times may be extended. In this event you will be notified at the time of placing your order. If you require products for a specific date, please allow for ample time when placing your order.

We are pleased to offer you the following delivery options

Domestic Orders, within Singapore

Self Collection: in order to avoid delivery charges, orders can be collected from Retail Empire at 32A Balmoral Park 259860 between the hours of 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday (following prior arrangement).

SingPost regular mail: delivery charges are calculated according to the weight of your package which will be stated automatically at the point of check-out. This is usually the most cost effective option but please note that if using this method of delivery the parcel cannot be tracked and no signature will be required.

Due to SingPost regulations, regular mail is not an option for parcels weighing 2kg+. In this case a courier service will be used to deliver orders to your nominated address and a signature will be required upon receipt of the goods. Costs for the courier service will be discussed with the customer at the time of an order being placed..

SingPost Registered Mail: SingPostalso offer a trackable delivery method for an additional fee. This means that your parcel can be tracked using an order number, which you will be given, and that a signature will be required upon receipt of goods.

 International Orders, outside of Singapore

For all international orders, Retail Empire uses SingPost Registered Mail or SpeedPost Air Parcel. All rates and charges are automatically calculated at the point of checkout based on the weight of the goods, including the packaging.

For international orders, the timeframe for delivery, if the product/s is in stock, is between 7-14 working days, depending on the region of delivery and unless otherwise stated.

Please note that for some countries, there may be additional taxes and duties that will be levied upon receipt of goods. Such costs are borne solely by the customer and are NOT the responsibility of Retail Empire.

Goods may also be subject to customs inspections and/or fees as per the regulations of the destination country. Retail Empire will not be responsible for any such fees or taxes under any circumstances. As customs policies vary widely from country to country please be sure to check the restrictions in the country of delivery before placing an order.

Cancellation Policy

Retail Empire is not able to refund cancellations once an order is submitted AND the confirmation of payment email has seen sent to the customer.

A full refund will only be given in the event that an order is cancelled by the customer due to the requested goods, colours or designs being unavailable due to problems with suppliers or shipping, or due to a product not being available within a time period that is considered satisfactory to the customer.

Refunds and Returns Policy

Retail Empire hopes that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and have a positive shopping experience with us. However, in the unfortunate event that you are not, please contact us at info@retailempire.com.sg,  within 3 working days of receipt of your purchase and we will discuss your concerns.

Should Retail Empire agree to refund payment we will only accept returned goods if they are received by us within 14 days of the customer receiving the goods. Payments will be refunded via the original payment method, within 10 working days of Retail Empire receiving the returned item/s.

All goods MUST be returned in their original sale condition, including all packaging, tags etc. Note that unless a product is damaged, or in some way defective, the customer will be required to pay all original and return delivery expenses. Products that are not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds are:
  • products not in their original sale condition ie scratches, marks or defects or products that have been damaged by abuse or negligence.
  • any item marked as 'reduced' or 'sale';
  • any item which has been customised as per the specifications of a customer ie name of child or personalised message, size alterations or a specific fabric design; and
  • items of a personal nature.
Please note that Retail Empire reserves the right to have sole discretion in refusing returns and refunds.

Privacy and Security Policy

Retail Empire is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and respects your right to have your personal information secured. All personal information disclosed to us via this website is used solely to process your order, for purposes of verification and fraud prevention and to enhance your shopping experience with us.

Any other information that we request is used to assist Retail Empire in better meeting the needs of its customers. The supplying of this 'extra' information such as feedback regarding our products or website, is purely optional and at the discretion of the customer.

Retail Empire has the necessary procedures and technologies in use to ensure that information is used correctly and to prevent unauthorised access to any information that we collect through our website.

When an electronic order is submitted via the
Retail Empire website all payment details are sent to a secure server. Credit card details are only decrypted after they reach PayPal's systems, where they are then automatically processed and your card charged. At no point in the payment process are details held in clear text format therefore unauthorised access to credit card details is not possible. Retail Empire do not have access to your complete credit card details.

As per 
Retail Empire policy, under no circumstances is any customer information disclosed, shared, transferred, sold or rented to any third party, unless required by law or any government agencies. Only authorized employees of Retail Empire are permitted access to any customer information.

This site contains links to other websites, however 
Retail Empire is not responsible for the privacy practices or the accuracy of information of these other websites. Links to other websites are provided purely as a convenience to Retail Empire customers.

Retail Empire reserves the right to make changes to the above policies without prior notice.
